Providing hope, support, education, and advocacy for people living with, recovering from, and affected by substance use disorders.
We envision a future where systems, communities, and individuals work together to ensure all people can access the resources necessary to enhance their ability to heal, strengthen, and grow in their recovery pathway, throughout all stages of their journey.
Rediscover Recovery Community Center's mission is to provide hope, support, education, and advocacy for people living with, recovering from, and affected by substance use disorders.
"The opposite of addiction is connection."— This is why we exist
Located in the heart of Clinton, Iowa, our center is a safe, welcoming space where community members can come together, find support, and take steps toward lasting recovery. Come see us — our doors are open.
Our center is designed to feel welcoming, safe, and inspiring — from our bright community spaces and quiet rooms to our fully equipped gym. Every corner of this building was built with our community in mind.
Our center includes a fully equipped gym available to our community members — because physical wellness is a powerful part of the recovery journey. Exercise builds confidence, reduces stress, and strengthens the body and mind.
We believe in healing the whole person — and our facility reflects that commitment.
Rediscover RCC proudly has a Naloxone Distribution Box available on site — generously donated by Steps of Hope. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that rapidly reverses opioid overdoses. It is safe, easy to use, and can mean the difference between life and death in an emergency.
Having naloxone available in your home or community is one of the most powerful steps you can take to protect the people you love. Our distribution box makes it easy and discreet to access — no prescription needed, no questions asked.
A special thank you to Steps of Hope for donating this life-saving resource to our community. 💛

We know that getting to a meeting or treatment appointment can be one of the biggest barriers to recovery. That's why RRCC provides transportation — because no one should miss out on their recovery journey due to a lack of a ride.
Our team brings passion, lived experience, and genuine care to everything we do. We are proud to serve the Clinton community alongside these incredible people.
Dominic is the Founder and Executive Director of RRCC. A person in long-term recovery from methamphetamine use disorder, he spent over seven years incarcerated before committing himself fully to recovery, education, and service. A U.S. veteran, he holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Social Work from St. Ambrose University. He founded RRCC in May 2023 — bridging the gap between institutional care and real life, connecting people to the support and community that make lasting recovery possible. Married to Ashley, they are raising three sons: Gabriel, Mason, and Ethan. His family is both his motivation and a daily reminder of what recovery makes possible.
As Center Manager and Financial Coordinator, Jenna keeps Rediscover RCC running smoothly behind the scenes — ensuring operations, finances, and programs are well-supported so the team can focus on what matters most: the people they serve. She also serves as a Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) Distributor and coordinates the Nurturing Parenting Program, providing essential support to families affected by substance use disorders. Jenna is an invaluable part of the RRCC family.
A certified Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS), Corrections Coordinator, and SOR Care Coordinator, Kara works closely with women who are incarcerated or involved in the justice system — supporting their recovery, connecting them to resources, and helping remove barriers to stability. Her work is centered on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where women feel seen, heard, and empowered to rediscover their strength.
As Outreach Manager, Robin leads community partnerships, coordinates events, and connects individuals and families to recovery and support services. Drawing on her own lived experience, she also serves as a Peer Recovery Coach — providing mentorship, encouragement, and advocacy to those navigating substance use, mental health, re-entry, and long-term recovery.
AJ helps break down one of the biggest barriers in early recovery: access. He provides transportation to All Recovery, NA, and CMA meetings, treatment centers, and other essential services. Every ride is more than a trip — it is an opportunity to offer encouragement, connection, and hope to individuals in some of the hardest moments of their lives.
As Peer Recovery Corrections Coordinator and SOR Grant Care Coordinator, Nelson works directly with incarcerated men — helping them build a foundation for recovery through education, structure, and intentional self-reflection. Drawing on lived experience and evidence-based recovery pathways, he provides resources, lesson plans, and one-on-one support to help men recognize their potential and build sustainable pathways for their future.
Michelle serves at Rediscover Recovery as a Recovery Coach, Family Peer Support Specialist, and Nurturing Parenting Facilitator — bringing both professional training and lived experience to work she is deeply passionate about. She supports individuals and families navigating substance use, mental health, and personal growth, helping them build resilience, set meaningful goals, and develop tools for lasting recovery. Michelle believes recovery is possible for everyone and is committed to walking alongside others with compassion, hope, and a genuine desire to help people rediscover their strength and purpose.
Kim is a Recovery Coach and Outreach Coordinator who brings lived experience, genuine empathy, and a deep understanding of the recovery journey. As someone in recovery herself, she meets people where they are, offers real support, and connects them with the resources they need to thrive. Kim believes recovery is possible for everyone and is passionate about walking alongside others as they find their way.
